Declared a TB-Free Panchayat
🏆 Konni Grama Panchayat 🏆
Following an assessment by the District TB Elimination Board, Konni Grama Panchayat was declared a 'TB-Free Panchayat' and presented with an award in recognition of its vigorous efforts in TB prevention and control. ✅Following the steps taken to continuously monitor 12 infected people in Konni Grama Panchayat, distribute necessary food grain kits to them, and provide them with treatment assistance from the TB Elimination Board, Konni Grama Panchayat was selected as a TB-free Panchayat in the final inspection by the TB Elimination Board and awarded.
🏆The award and certificate of appreciation were received by the Hon. District Collector Mr. Nizamuddin A. The Hon. Gram Panchayat President Mr. Roji Abraham. Gram Panchayat Vice President Mrs. Shobha Murali, Health Education Standing Committee Chairperson Mrs. Anitha Biju, Gram Panchayat members Mr. Praveen Plavilayil, Mrs. Suryakala R, Mrs. Jilsha Shaji, Block Medical Officer Mrs. Betsy V Babu, Health Inspector Mr. Ajith Raj were present.
✅The Grama Panchayat received the award as a result of the sincere efforts of the Konni Grama Panchayat and the Health Department/Konni Taluk Hospital, and will continue to prepare strong preventive measures against TB and conduct awareness programs, said Grama Panchayat President Roji Abraham.
